But when I bet my life on the candlestick chart, fate dealt me the cruelest black humor.
Twelve months ago, I smashed the bank teller's name tag and jumped into the cryptocurrency whirlpool with 200,000 savings. The seed of greed sprouted in the December cold—when BOME dropped to 0.008, I saw the phantom of the second PEPE. Averaging down at 0.007, adding more at 0.005, going all in at 0.003, until the guillotine fell this morning. The 3x leverage was as fragile as paper in the waterfall market.
The chips on the gambling table ultimately cleared to zero.
Ironically, I even convinced my parents to stake their retirement money. The suggestion to average down from 0.004 to 0.003 now feels like the devil's whisper. Watching my elderly parents hunch-backed studying wallet transfers, the guilt is more suffocating than the liquidation.

The rain continues to fall. The once dashing youth now curls up in a 15-square-meter rental, staring blankly at the screen full of liquidation notifications. Those late-night readings of white papers, those carefully drawn trend lines, have shattered into fragments before reality. The future is like a paper boat soaked by rain, gradually sinking in the whirlpool of memory.
